Case Study: Fence Replacement in Stevenage

This is a project that we recently completed for a customer in our home town of Stevenage. Our client’s old fence had seen better days, and she wanted to replace it with something that would be long-lasting and nice to look at.

Following a chat with the team at Stevenage Fencing Services, she decided on a 6-foot-tall panel fence made up of 5-foot closed-board panels with a 1-foot gravel board base for added stability. Closed-board panels are a great choice for any domestic garden. Not only do they look amazing, but they are also highly durable even in adverse weather conditions, as well as providing improved privacy and security.

After measuring up the perimeter of her garden, we worked out that it would take 30 of these panels to deliver the perfectly-fitting fence for her, including a gate for easy access along one side. It was a big project, as we had to remove and dispose of the existing fence before we could install the new one.

With the old fence out of the way, our team worked quickly to dig a support trench for the gravel boards and posts, into which we installed the new panels to a perfect fit. The entire project took us three days of hard work to complete, and the results were well worth it.

As you can see from these images, the final product looks incredible and really helps to set off the garden. Needless to say, our customer was delighted with her new fence and the high standard of workmanship that went into its isolation.
